During checking near Karbigwan Hridaypur of Narwal in Kanpur, cattle smugglers riding loaders and pickups tried to crush the police personnel. The police personnel saved their lives by jumping from the jeep. The jeep overturned in the pit. The police somehow laid siege and arrested five people including the loader and the pickup. Narwal Police Station Head Rajesh Kumar Singh along with the team reached Karbigwan near Hridaypur village on Saturday morning. Later the police personnel caught five people. According to the police station in-charge, the arrested were Virendra Kumar, resident of Sunderpur Kachora of Jehanabad area of Fatehpur, Moinuddin, Tauheed, resident of Kajitola of Jehanabad, Sumit Kumar of Bakewar Fatehpur, Ravi, resident of Chandapur Haji Kadim of Sadh area of Kanpur, pistol, cartridges and cash were recovered from them.
